Fairford began their defence of the Stroud and District Combination Junior Cup in impressive style on Saturday, winning 76-5 at Cirencester 2nds.

They will now play Painswick in the semi-finals on 30th March. Painswick booked their place in the last four with a 14-9 win at Dursley 2nds.

The other semi-final will see Stroud 2nds host Minchinhampton.

The two Bill Adams Trophy preliminary round games which were due to have been played on Saturday have both been rearranged.

Dursley 3rds will now host Cirencester 3rds on 9th March while Fairford 2nds will entertain Minchinhampton 2nds on 16th March.
