Gloucestershire play Derbyshire in a 50 overs One Day Cup game at Cheltenham College tomorrow

Seam bowler Craig Miles will feature for Gloucestershire in the upcoming Metro Bank One Day Cup.

Gloucestershire begin their campaign against Derbyshire at Cheltenham tomorrow (11am) - the final day of this year’s Cheltenham Cricket Festival - with the 31-year-old Miles signing a loan deal which will allow him to play for the club in this year’s competition.

Miles has been with Warwickshire since leaving Gloucestershire at the end of the 2018 season but it was announced last month that he will be rejoining the club for the 2026 campaign having signed a three-year deal from 1^st November.

Miles has taken 60 wickets in 50 List A matches at an average of 36.88, including best figures of 4-29 against Yorkshire in the opening group-stage fixture of Gloucestershire’s victorious 2015 Royal London Cup campaign.

Miles played in eight matches during that title-winning run and brings valuable experience to the attack.

Meanwhile, Gloucestershire have confirmed that pace bowlers Ajeet Dale Singh and Zaman Akhter will join Lancashire and Essex respectively at the end of the season.
