Cheltenham Town begin 2025/26 League Two campaign at Cambridge United

Cheltenham Town will host Chesterfield in their first home League Two game of the season on Saturday 9th August

Cheltenham Town will kick-off their new League Two campaign at Cambridge United on Saturday 2^nd August.

Cambridge, for whom head coach Neil Harris is in his second spell in charge, were relegated from League One at the end of last season.

Chesterfield will travel to Cheltenham a week later for their first home game and they, too, will be tough opponents after missing out on promotion through the play-offs last time out.

Cheltenham boss Michael Flynn locks horns with former club Newport for the first time when the two clubs meet in South Wales on Saturday 18^th October, and just over a month later Cheltenham entertain relegated Bristol Rovers in an eagerly-awaited game on Saturday 22^nd November.

Flynn’s men, who finished 15^th last season, face Swindon Town twice in December – Swindon are at home on Tuesday 9^th December before travelling to Cheltenham on Monday 29^th December.

New Year’s Day sees Cheltenham travel north to Crewe, while on Saturday 21^st February, Cheltenham host Salford City.

Their final away game sees them make the short trip to Bristol Rovers on Saturday 25^th April and their 46^thand last league game of the campaign is at home to Colchester United on Saturday 2^nd May.
