Flavoursome Flapjack Flavoursome Flapjack

Ingredients:
85g margarine
45g sugar
170g porridge oats
3 dessert spoons golden syrup
Grated orange rind
Grated lemon rind

Method:
1. Put the margarine, sugar and syrup into a saucepan and melt over a low heat. Stir in the oats, orange rind and lemon rind.

2. Brush the tin with margarine and turn out the mixture into a 7½ inch sandwich tin, making sure you spread it to the sides.

3. Bake in the centre of the oven at 180 degrees (Gas Mark 4) for 15-17 minutes.

4. Cut into slices and keep in an airtight tin.
