Hatherley and Reddings players and supporters celebrate last season’s County Cup win

Hatherley and Reddings head to Chipping Sodbury tomorrow for their first competitive game of the new season.

The two teams meet in a preliminary round one tie of the ECB National Club Championship, a knockout competition for all the top clubs in the land.

It will be the first of at least three competitive meetings between the two sides this season because they also both play in Premier 2 Glos/Wilts of the West of England Premier League.

The prize for the winners is a trip to Cardiff for a preliminary round two tie on Sunday 26^th April.

Meanwhile, Hatherley begin their defence of the County Cup with a tie at home to Bristol Pakistanis a week tomorrow.

Hatherley won the cup by defeating Chipping Sodbury, the 2025 Gloucestershire Division champions, by 29 runs run in the final at Bristol.

Hatherley launch their WEPL campaign with a home game against Painswick on Saturday 2^nd May.

“it’s a very busy start to the new season,” said Hatherley’s new director of cricket Prakash Timmaraju.
